LONG RANGE RIFLE
This course covers the techniques required to achieve first round hits out to 1000 yards and beyond under a variety of conditions, circumstances and distances. Range estimation, scope adjustment and zeroing, minute of angle theory, external ballistics and weather effects are just a few of the topics that are covered. You’ll be instructed in shooting moving targets, low light shooting, Mil-dot and TMR reticles, use of data books and much more by our world class Rangemasters. Target engagements will be made at both known and unknown distances out to 1 mile using the techniques covered.
The focus of this class is on marksmanship skills and does not include field craft or a stalk.
You must bring the following equipment!
- *308 caliber rifle with a bi pod
- High power optic. (25x is preferred)
- Shooting mat
- 300 Rounds of ammo
- Data book
- Eye and ear protection
- Rear sand bags
- Elbow and Knee pads optional
